Godwin Nwaugha is an accomplished Agile Leader based in Gastonia, United States, with over a decade of leadership experience in the Agile domain. Session Summary:

In our contemporary, interconnected world, coaches find themselves collaborating with clients from a broad spectrum of cultural backgrounds. This can sometimes pose challenges, as diverse cultures have different norms, values, and communication styles. However, with the right knowledge and skills, coaches can effectively navigate cultural diversity and create a positive and productive coaching experience for all involved. Consequently, coaching transcends its former confines of national borders. Proficiently navigating these cultural variances becomes imperative for establishing an all-encompassing coaching environment, nurturing personal development for individuals from diverse social classes. The “Coaching Across Multiple Cultures” workshop is a 90-minute transformative experience that provides coaches with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to navigate the complexities of crosscultural coaching. As the global coaching community seeks to address issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The session emphasized practical strategies for fostering inclusivity in coaching relationships. It championed active listening, empathy, and open communication as essential tools for coaches working with individuals from various backgrounds. Additionally, the abstract touched on addressing unconscious biases, offering a glimpse into techniques for mitigating these biases in coaching interactions.
